ASIA PACIFIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARD 2009

20 Aug 2009 – Mr Benoit Hennaut, CEO of MONIER Asia Pacific was awarded Outstanding Entrepreneur Award, one of the award categories during the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA 2009).

The APEA is a regional recognition program for outstanding entrepreneurs across Asia. The Outstanding Entrepreneur Awards is awarded to those who have demonstrated entrepreneurial attributes which includes tenacity and perseverance to continue innovating and making a difference within the industry.

 Benoit is indeed an outstanding entrepreneur. He shifts MONIER from a commodity business to an innovative consumer oriented platform. Under his leadership, MONIER launched 20 innovative roofing offers in 3 years including MONIER Energy Efficient Roofing Solutions, linked to the worldwide environmental mega trend. The idea of “One Stop Roofing Centre”, the first of its kind in the world was launched with the aim to provide a peace of mind to customers.

With that, MONIER has been awarded with The BrandLaureate Award for Best Brands in Roof Systems for two consecutive years and The Malaysian Trade and Industry Organisation (MTI) for The Malaysian Innovation Excellence Award in year 2008 for Mediterrano® Roof System.
