MONIER Cool School Programme

Who better to keep cool than Malaysia's school children? We put the joy back into schooling by replacing school roofs with Monier CoolRoof®. MONIER’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme stems from our belief that going green begins with the community.

Cool School is a Corporate Social Responsible (CSR) programme of MONIER which was initiated with the objective to provide school students a better learning environment.

We have shortlisted schools with old and dilapidated, heat-trapping roofs that urgently need upgrades so we can provide students a better learning environment under the MONIER CoolRoof®. A school will be selected based on the criteria and have its roof retrofitted with MONIER CoolRoof®. Basically the roof must be old and leakages.

Our Mission is to have at least one MONIER CoolSchool in each state in Malaysia, in 5 years time, by 2014.

Among the two lucky schools that have completed the Cool School Programme would be SMK Sultan Abdul Samad, PJ and SK (P) Methodist, Kuantan [MGS Kuantan].
