Truss System

Our truss system are available in steel and timber.

Roof Trusses
The roof truss is a very important part of a roofing system, as it is the structure that supports the roof covering. Very often, the quality and workmanship of the roof truss has a significant impact on the overall quality of the roof. When both the roof truss and roof covering are designed, supplied and installed by the same supplier, you can be assured of higher quality. Any potential issues will also be greatly minimized.

MONIER is one of the very few suppliers that offer you both metal and timber trusses. Most suppliers offer you only one or the other, very seldom are they able to offer you both options. We believe in offering you maximum flexibility and options.

Our truss systems are designed and backed by designers, qualified engineers and technical support, so you can be assured that the structure is always sound. Many in the market offer cheaper systems by compromising on technical support and quality. We believe that reliability, safety and quality are more important considerations than just short-term savings on dollars and cents. If a roof collapses or have some deficiency, there are risks and liabilities to those that built the structure and also to the inhabitants. Why take such risks? It will cost you more if such an incident were to occur just once.

Metal Trusses
We offer a variety of metal trusses made from different materials such as Zincalume, galvanized metal and also mild steel. Our metal trusses are designed and tested to Australian and British standards. It is also extremely robust, reliable and designed with safety in mind. This reflects our core values, where Health & Safety is the number one priority of the company. At MONIER, we have a worldwide policy of ‘zero tolerance for non-safety’, which is endorsed by the CEO.

Timber Trusses
The quality of timber plays an important part in determining the quality of the roof structure. Today, when good timber is becoming increasingly scarce and expensive, it is very common to sacrifice on quality and go for timber that are young and dimensionally inconsistent. When such timber are used, problems such as warping and waviness will occur. This very often leads to leakages and also unsightly roofs. At MONIER, we do not compromise on quality. That is why we use only high quality timber that is specially selected and chemically treated for extra durability and strength.
